Liza and Rik met back in high school—talk about a throwback! Like any good story, it wasn’t love at first sight (at least, not exactly). But after a few months of playful back-and-forth, the encouragement of a good and persistent friend, and one completely proper party vacation in Turkey, these two stubborn souls finally took the leap. And just like that, they became a couple.

What followed has been nothing short of a beautiful whirlwind. In the 15 years since, they’ve explored countries both near and far, sampled lots of delicious food (often thanks to Liza’s fearless curiosity), and logged countless hours gaming together—because yes, couples who co-op, stay together.

They’ve learned that the best adventures aren’t always the big ones. Sometimes, they happen in the little moments: getting lost in your hometown, doing ridiculous dances in the living room, or learning how to be awesome (and only slightly sleep-deprived) parents to their cheeky son, Oscar.

Together, they’ve built lots of beautiful memories and meaningful moments —and now, they’re ready to add one more that celebrates their love and commitment in front of the people who’ve meant the most along the way.
